Welcome! My name is Gun Bolukbasi (Gün Bölükbaşı), and I design: sketch, visualize, prototype, analyze, and iterate. In addition to my love of tangible mediums, I'm invested in CAD and using digital practices to advance my passion for creating.
I recently graduated from the Industrial Design program at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with honors and won the Seth Stem Furniture Design Award. While studying Industrial Design at RISD, I minored in the Theory & History of Art and Design, as I believe in becoming a better designer through gaining a complex understanding of what design simply is, what it does, and most importantly, what it can do.
I'm currently working as a Designer at Roll & Hill, a design-minded furniture and lighting company based in New York. Outside of work, I collaborate with researchers and engineers from MIT Media Lab AttentivU, designing wearable technology.
